Inventory Planner

Job Description

Tasks
  • Monitor inventory levels and track product movement to ensure adequate stock availability.
  • Forecast demand and adjust inventory plans based on historical data, market trends, and sales projections.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to manage purchase orders, lead times, and delivery schedules.
  • Analyze sales and inventory data to identify trends, slow-moving items, and opportunities for stock optimization.
  • Coordinate with sales, operations, and logistics teams to support inventory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain inventory reports to provide visibility into stock levels and purchasing needs.
  • Implement inventory control procedures to minimize excess stock and reduce stockouts.
Skill and Experience
  • Proven experience as an Inventory Planner, Inventory Analyst, or in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Understanding of demand forecasting and inventory optimization principles.
  • Ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with remote teams and suppliers.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field is preferred.
